Extra one hour in school

25th February 2006 - Since 21st February 2006, all standard 6 have to stay back in school for one whole hour for UPSR!!

the thought of it just makes me shudder...

What happened today? I came early now bcoz all the teachers are seriously uptight on these coming-to-school issues. Especially since I came really late like 8:30 late!!

Adil didn't come today & tomorrow so Brian Cheng's going to sit in Adil's place so today & tomorrow is a BRIAN-FREE DAY!!!
Hee hee, that & I sat at his place next to Alex for the whole day!!

First period was Science, so I guess that's another reason why I didn't came late either. Science we did our Velocity exercises & then, it was Guitar. Nothing much happened there. We were playing the Greensleevees song.

I loove the melody. It's so beautiful.

(Ahem)

Anywayz...

BREAK: Well, I was eating a tuna sandwich my mom made & people were like, "AAH! MUTANT TUNA!!" or something like that...



After break is BM & nothing much happened. The usual marking books & lecturing on & on....
Then it was Maths. It could've been the usual pin-drop silent class but Philip ruined it. He sat at my place, obviously trying to bug me.

& you know what? He succeeded. He found out that I accidentally wrote my name as Aishah Nadiah

instead of
Aishah Nadirah

Is it my fault that I accidentally wrote down my name in pen & forgot about the "r"?
Anywayz, he teased me sooooo much!!!
AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

LUNCH: I went mad bcoz I had so much access energy since no guy was annoying me that much... Seriously, I went loco. Ask Kim.


Then it was English. Ah, Ms Chung's lecturing & teasing... That's what I like about my tutor... She's got style in humour!!
Then it was Agama. Ustazah (that's Arab for teacher) did a PAFA (another UPSR rating for Agama) test with us but I've already been called so I didn't panic like how I did last week!

We were let out after Agama & headed down the canteen.

Now I have extra classes on Tuesday-Friday so I think I should call it 2L... You know, 2nd Lunch!!

2L: Well, the Aquans (a name for all ppl in my class... Lousy isn't it?) made up a game which is to catch my bottle. It's like chasing with a mixture of rugby...
Only the team is Girls Vs Boys.
It is mui annoying.
I was holding up the bottle up high. You know, this is an advantage of being 3rd tallest in the class.
All the boys was trying to catch it & Roy tickled me & I had to put down my arms & Jonathan caught it.
Then the war began.


The extra class on Thursday is Science so one more hour to panic on the green beans project thing. Better act quick!



24th February 2006
Today I came almost early as usual. First period was English & my dad is now wise to send me to school early!! English was fun. We listened to Ms Chung reading Brandon Saw's composition. He wrote about himself going back into time. The pre-historic time.
First he said some guy poofed from nowhere & gave him a golden watch. Then, he kept in a cupboard because he thought it might be dangerous.

('How can a gold watch be dangerous??' Ms Chung asked.)

After a few days, he wanted to wind up the golden clock in the cupboard.

('So the golden watch grew into a clock??' Ms Chung said.)

When he wound it up, for 3 hours, he went into some prehistoric place.

('So for 3 hours, you just sat there??' Ms Chung asked.)

He was chased by a dinosaur & then he climbed a palm tree & kept a look-out for pterodactyls & went sleeping.

('So you were on a look-out for pterodactyls & fell asleep??' Ms Chung slapped her forehead this time!!)

When he woke up, he realised he was hungry so he caught a pre-historic fish & ate it.

('You do realise that a pre-historic fish is bigger than a whale? How in the world did you catch it & manage to eat it & cook it all the same??' Ms Chung asked)

He then was chased by a T-rex & hid in a cave. Suddenly, a boy with a handphone & a golden watch popped out from nowhere. They had an idea & combined their watches & wind it back in time. Brandon also took 20 dinosaur eggs with him.

('20 dinosaur eggs??!?! One egg already heavy!! How can you carry 20 dinosaur eggs??')

They manage to went back in time & he gave the 20 dinosaur eggs to a professor. He went back home. After some years, there was an exhibit on dinosaurs.

('So what happened to the boy with the handphone?? & how come suddenly your golden clock shrunk back into a golden watch??' Ms Chung concluded.)

It was really funny! Especially the eating a pre-historic fish bit. I mean, did you know a whale is as long as 2 buses?? & he managed to eat a fish as wide as 3 buses!! Hilarious!!
Then it was Vocal. It could've been better if the boys would just be quiet & let the girls sing. Is that so hard to ask?? We sang all of the 3 songs we've learnt so far which is:

• Hold on together - Land before time
• Whistle down the wind - no idea
• Crazy little thing called love - Elvis Presley, Queen & Michael Buble

After that was Swimming. Well, we had to swim 20 laps & after that, we played Water Polo with the Ignis girls.
You know, there's something & only something I admire about the boys.
Nothing can break their friendship.
I mean, if you watched the ignis & ashleigh, alex & I play, comparing us to the boys, you'd rather watch the boys. They're really having fun.
Us?
Well, we just wanted to win & rub it in everyone's face.
Except me....
it's true!!!!!!


BREAK : No one bugged me... That was good... But I didn't eat my break so peacefully.

Then it was Maths. Oh joy Maths. We listened to Mrs Wee going on & on over Money (Sanjiv's favourite subject). Then it was BM. We were discussing on our Holidays & then Cik Siti scolded Brandons Saw for not reading his rangka.




LUNCH : It wasn't that bad. I forgot to bring my money on my Time to run away from boring packed food day!! So I used Sabrina's & bought myself mashed potato. Then we were being entertained by Philip & Daniel Lim & Brian Cheng.



Moral was next. I like this period very much bcoz it improves my BM tons & I get to do whatever I want while talking & teasing in BM. Then our suppose-to-be last period was Science. Science we had to do our corrections & another exercise. I'm grasping Ms Christine's Friday Science period concept. That's when she does her marking while we do whatever we want, provided that we're quiet.



2L: Daniel attempted to catch my..... tupperware bcoz I didn't bring my bottle but no one was interested so I was just catching Daniel & Jonathan.



Last period was English. Ms Chung gave a UPSR worksheet. I did a super careless mistake. There's this section on checking our spelling & we were suppose to choose the correct spelling. For waterfall, there were 3 options:

• witerfall
• waterfall
• watarfell

& did you know what my lame brain of mine chose?? the 3rd one!!!!!!!!!
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

& I told Ms Chung & she said, "Do you want me to strangle you??"
Don't worry. She's only joking.
Quite funny but so "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!"

I feel completely miserable on the fact that no boy on this planet likes me more than a friend.
